At Good Morning Coffee Traders, we are seeking a passionate Barista to join our team in Garbutt, Queensland. This temporary, casual role is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in the hospitality and catering industry. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while delivering high-quality coffee and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and other drinks to customers
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop, including workstations and seating areas
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
• Handle cash and process transactions accurately
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods

Qualifications:

• No formal education required; however, a passion for coffee and customer service is essential
• Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not mandatory
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Basic mathematical skills for cash handling and transactions
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
