The NBA Store is one of the world’s premier retail experiences, sitting at the intersection of sport, fashion and culture. From player jerseys and team apparel to footwear, accessories and collectibles, we connect fans with the latest officially licensed NBA merchandise.

Like a great basketball team, outstanding stores are built through preparation, communication, accountability and consistent execution. We’re looking for energetic, customer-focused Christmas Casual Retail Sales Assistants to join us during our busiest and most exciting time of year.

About the role

As a Retail Sales Assistant, you’re more than the face of the store — you’re part of the team bringing the energy, culture and excitement of the NBA to life for every fan.

Whether you’re helping a lifelong fan find their next jersey, helping someone discover their first team, or creating something unique through customisation, your goal is simple: deliver an experience worthy of the NBA brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Bring the NBA to life through energetic, genuine and memorable fan interactions.
• Be the product expert and trusted coach. Know our teams, players, fits, silhouettes, collections, new releases, promotions and services so customers receive knowledgeable advice rather than simply directions to a product.
• Understand customer signals, what they are looking at, what they are wearing, who they support and what has brought them into NBA Store. Build genuine connections and personalise recommendations.
• Play to win and actively contribute to individual and team sales targets along with store KPIs, without compromising the quality or authenticity of the customer experience.
• Treat the store like our home court. Take personal ownership of its presentation & ensure it is always clean, stocked, organised, welcoming and ready for gameday.

You’ll thrive in this role if you are:

• Fan-first and passionate about delivering an all-star customer experience
• A confident communicator who connects easily with fans from every team and background
• Energetic, reliable and ready to perform in a fast-paced environment
• A true team player with a positive attitude and a drive to learn
• Passionate about basketball, sport, fashion or streetwear (preferred but not essential)
• Flexible and available throughout the Christmas–New Year season, from November through to mid-January.
