  • ·Complete daily pre-start checks and report any faults on Plant Assessor
  • ·Operate all plant equipment, machinery and vehicles in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation and company policies and procedures.
  • ·Handling of organic and inorganic waste during the production of the soil and compost in accordance with set policies, procedures, regulations and legislation.
  • ·Perform daily safety and maintenance checks and advise manger of any service and/or maintenance requirements.
  • ·Ensure all activities meet with and integrate with organisational requirements for quality management.
  • ·Ensure care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
  • ·Clean plant equipment and machinery as scheduled and/or required.
  • ·Ensure plant equipment and machinery are safely and securely stored.
  • ·Assist in the training and development of new employees.
  • ·Actively participate in site toolbox talks.
  • ·Performs miscellaneous position related duties and labour as required.
  • ·Take ownership for your own health and safety for those matters within your control or ability to influence.
  • ·Work with colleagues to promote health and safety, environment and quality and ensure that it becomes a part of everyday business.
  • ·Be accountable as an individual to enhance and promote a “safety-first” culture within the business.
  • ·Ensure duty of care obligations are met as required under Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
