Are you a proactive and highly organised Executive Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being a trusted partner to senior leaders?

This is an exciting opportunity to support the Chief Financial Officer at Cairns Airport, playing a key role in enabling effective leadership, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to strategic and operational initiatives across the business.

ROLE HIGHLIGHTS:

In this dynamic and hands-on role, you will:

  • Provide high-level executive and administrative support to the CFO
  • Act as a key liaison between the CFO, internal teams, and external stakeholders
  • Manage complex calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, and communications
  • Coordinate meetings, including agendas, papers, reports, and minutes
  • Support reporting processes and assist with preparation of presentations and Board materials
  • Manage expenses, corporate card reconciliations, and administrative budget activities
  • Maintain document control systems and SharePoint sites
  • Assist with projects, research, and continuous improvement initiatives across the business
  • Support coordination of corporate, community, and industry events

You will play a central role in ensuring the effectiveness, organisation, and efficiency of the CFO function.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Experience in executive support or senior administration roles
  • Strong organisational, time management, and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced MS Office, SharePoint, and communication tools capability
  • Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation
  • Relevant qualifications in Business Administration or similar (desirable)
