Casual Educator

About the Role We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic On Call Casual Childcare Educator to join our team. This role involves supporting the daily care and development of children in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. Child safety is our highest priority, and all educators are expected to uphold and promote a strong culture of child protection at all times, including maintaining active supervision of children.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide active supervision at all times, ensuring children are safe, visible, and supporte
• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities
• Assist with daily routines including meals, rest, and playtime
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
• Support the implementation of educational programs
• Ensure all practices align with child safety standards and policies
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members

About You

• Passion for working with children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible and reliable with availability for casual shifts
• Strong understanding of active supervision and commitment to maintaining a child-safe environment

Requirements

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education
• Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain)
• Completion of Child Safety Foundations (Australia) training (or willingness to complete prior to commencement)
• Previous childcare experience preferred
• Ability to work all shifts between 6:30am-6:00pm
