(TEST) QA Tester – Remote

Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Tester to join our team in Brunswick, Victoria. This entry-level position is crucial for ensuring the quality and reliability of our accountancy software products. As a QA Tester, you will play a key role in identifying defects and improving our software, contributing to the overall success of our organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough testing of software applications to identify bugs and issues.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback.
• Document test results and report defects in a clear and concise manner.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss testing progress and challenges.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
• Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with testing tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Selenium) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
