About the Role

My Ability Pathway (MAP) is looking for a motivated and organised Rostering Key Worker to join our team.

This is a unique role combining rostering and administration with direct participant support. You’ll assist with the day-to-day coordination of participant rosters while remaining connected to frontline service delivery.

Working closely with our Workforce Planner and Service Delivery team, you’ll help fill roster gaps, maintain accurate rosters in ShiftCare and support the matching of team members to participants based on their needs, preferences, skills and compatibility.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assist with maintaining and updating participant rosters in ShiftCare.
  • Help fill vacant shifts, leave and short-notice roster gaps.
  • Match team members with participants based on availability, skills, compatibility and participant preferences.
  • Support consistent participant teams and continuity of service.
  • Communicate roster changes to relevant team members.
  • Identify roster gaps and workforce shortages and escalate these to the Workforce Planner.
  • Work collaboratively with Service Delivery, Key Workers and the Workforce Planner.
  • Undertake direct participant support shifts as part of the role.
  • Provide person-centred support that promotes participant choice, independence and progress towards NDIS goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow MAP policies and procedures.

The position assists with day-to-day roster filling, while complex Award interpretation, workforce modelling, NDIS coding and broader workforce planning are escalated to the Workforce Planner or relevant manager

About You

We’re looking for someone who understands disability support and enjoys the organisational and problem-solving side of service delivery.

You’ll be organised, approachable and confident communicating with different people. You’ll be able to manage competing priorities, respond calmly when rosters change and understand the importance of matching the right team member with the right participant.

Previous rostering experience and experience using ShiftCare are desirable, along with an understanding of the SCHADS Award and NDIS-funded service delivery.

Mandatory Requirements

You will need a current

  • NDIS Worker Check
  • National Criminal History Check
  • First Aid including CPR
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent
  • Full driver’s licence.
