We’re looking for a Sales Specialist to provide support to Business Development Managers, acting
as a subject matter expert in Metro’s systems and processes. You’ll ensure seamless coordination,
effective communication, and be a trusted partner to both internal teams and external
stakeholders.
Roles and responsibilities
Sales Support
- Act as a point of contact for introducers to assist them with enquiries
including but limited to; Metro product information, pricing, system
access, troubleshooting and Credit Policy guidance
- Develop a reputation with introducers as a trusted and reliable partner
Internal Support
- Assisting and providing advice to the Client Services team with inquiries
they raise with the Sales team.
- Helping introducers with back end issues
- Managing group email box and determine which department is to
action and provide instructions
Business Development
- Provide specialist support to BDM’s to develop existing relationships with
introducers
- Provide guidance and support to support the BDM’s for enquiries such as
risk appetite, policy, troubleshooting etc. and escalating when required
- Build relationships with introducers
- Assist BDM’s with accreditation requests and onboarding and
offboarding introducers
- Assist with maintaining aggregator and introducer information
and ensure compliance documents are held and up to date
How to succeed
This role would suit a team player with a can-do attitude and an ability to work autonomously. You’ll possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organisational ability, excellent customer service and an ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
We are looking for someone with the following:
- 3 years previous sales support experience
- Ability to build rapport and develop professional relationships with brokers and excellent customer service skills
- Must have Australian working rights (citizen or PR)
