ABOUT THE ROLE
As our Inventory Team Lead, you’ll play a critical role in keeping MESHKI’s warehouse operations running smoothly and efficiently. You’ll lead the day-to-day coordination of inbound activities while supporting and developing a team of Inventory Assistants, ensuring stock is received accurately, priorities are met, and operational standards remain high.
This is an opportunity for an experienced warehouse leader to take ownership of a key function within a fast-growing global brand. You’ll combine hands-on operational leadership with people development, helping to build a high-performing team while driving accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the Inventory function.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Lead and coordinate daily Inventory operations, ensuring inbound stock is received, processed, and recorded accurately and efficiently.
- Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and support to a team of Inventory Assistants, driving performance, engagement, and development.
- Manage workflow priorities, including container unloads, deliveries, urgent receivals, and inbound processing schedules.
- Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock investigations, discrepancy management, and process compliance.
- Partner closely with Dispatch, Returns, Logistics, Production, and Buying teams to ensure seamless warehouse operations.
- Deliver accurate operational reporting and maintain high standards of data integrity across warehouse systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, and team effectiveness.
- Champion workplace safety, operational compliance, and MESHKI values through daily leadership and role modelling.
- Working closely with the Inventory Supervisor to deliver strong workflow management, people leadership, and first-level investigations, ensuring smooth warehouse operations and high inventory accuracy.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING
- Previous experience in a warehouse leadership role, such as Team Lead, Leading Hand, Supervisor, or similar.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, receivals, and stock control processes.
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing team members in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, quality, and operational excellence.
- Confidence using warehouse management systems and maintaining accurate reporting.
- A passion for developing people, driving continuous improvement, and creating a positive team culture where team members feel supported, challenged, and empowered to deliver MESHKI standards.
