We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our logistics team in East Melbourne. This part-time, permanent role is essential for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of service and customer satisfaction within the logistics distribution and supply chain industry.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
• Ensure timely delivery of packages while adhering to scheduled routes.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured and protected during transit.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding delivery status.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety on the road.

Qualifications:

• Valid Australian driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy packages as required.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic knowledge of the local area and navigation skills.
• Previous experience in a delivery or logistics role is an advantage but not essential.
