Description

Mater Dei Early Childhood Education (MDECE) are seeking casual Educators to join our team.

MDECE provides centre-based early childhood education programs for children with developmental delay or disability. Our programs support children from birth through to their transition to school and includes our community preschool, which is licensed for 22 places.

We support children with a range of needs—from mild to profound developmental delays—through inclusive, tailored learning experiences.

Our team takes a strong person-centred, family-focused approach. Educators work closely with families, carers, and professionals to set and achieve meaningful goals for each child, helping them thrive now and into the future.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for passionate Educators to join our team and help deliver high-quality early childhood education in a warm, inclusive, and safe environment.

Whether you’re a Diploma Qualified Educator, or Certificate III Educator, we welcome your application. Your role will be to support children’s learning and development through engaging, age-appropriate programs that make a real difference in their lives.

What You’ll Need

  • A recognised early childhood qualification approved by ACECQA
  • Experience working in early childhood education, ideally supporting children with developmental delay or disability
  • A current Working With Children Check
  • Up-to-date First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain)
  • Knowledge of key frameworks and standards, including:
    • Education and Care Services National Regulations
    • National Quality Framework (NQF)
    • National Quality Standards (NQS)
    • Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
