Description

Join our Training team as a Compliance Lead and play a key role in strengthening the compliance, assurance and governance practices of our Registered Training Organisation (RTO 30097). Working closely with the General Manager – Training, you’ll provide expert guidance, maintain audit readiness and help embed practical, consistent compliance practices across the RTO.

 

Your new role:

  • Lead the development and ongoing review of the RTO’s compliance and governance framework.
  • Manage policy and procedure reviews to ensure documentation remains current and aligned with regulatory, legislative, contractual and funding requirements.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit preparation, including evidence collection, stakeholder engagement and action tracking.
  • Design and oversee compliance monitoring activities, registers and reporting.
  • Prepare clear compliance reports identifying risks, trends, gaps and recommended actions.
  • Translate complex regulatory requirements into practical guidance, training and communications for staff.
  • Oversee corrective and preventative actions and drive continuous improvement
  • Provide timely compliance advice and recommendations to support effective decision-making and risk management.

 

What you need:

  • Extensive experience in RTO compliance, quality assurance, governance or regulatory assurance.
  • A sound understanding of the VET Quality Framework, including the Standards for RTOs 2025.
  • Working knowledge of RTO legislation, regulatory standards, funding requirements and audit expectations.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating audits and leading compliance programs and improvement initiatives.
  • Strong written communication, analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate action plans and work effectively with stakeholders.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable).
