We are seeking expressions of interest from current MCCG employees for a casual Rostering & Administration Worker to provide backfill support when permanent rostering team members are on annual leave or other planned absences.

This is an excellent opportunity for existing staff who are looking to broaden their experience, develop their administration and rostering skills, and gain exposure to the CHOICES & Aged Care Portfolio.

About the Role

The CHOICES & Aged Care Portfolio provides person-centred services to people living with disability, older people, and individuals experiencing mental ill health. Our services focus on recovery, independence, skill development and community inclusion.

As a Casual Rostering & Administration Worker, you will be part of the Rostering Team, responsible for coordinating support services through our client management system. You will work closely with participants, their nominated representatives and program staff to ensure services are delivered in line with service agreements and organisational requirements.

In this role you will:

  • Coordinate and maintain staff rosters to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Liaise with participants, families, support workers and program staff regarding scheduling needs.
  • Respond to rostering enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide administrative support to assist with program operations.
  • Ensure services are scheduled in accordance with funding agreements and key performance indicators.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, responsive and customer-focused team environment.

About You

You will bring:

  • A relevant Certificate-level qualification, or experience in rostering, workforce scheduling or administration, or extensive experience within the community services sector.
  • Experience coordinating rosters or scheduling staff and services.
  • An understanding of the disability, mental health and/or aged care sectors.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using rostering or client management software (desirable).
  • The ability to build positive working relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
