Magnus Health Pty Ltd is a dedicated NDIS Mental Health Disability Support Service provider with Support Independent Living Houses (18) and Community Access participants across Brisbane North, South and Gold Coast regions.  Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for our participants through dedicated and personalised care.

Role Overview:

Due to significant growth over the past 12-18 months, we are seeking two rostering gurus to join our afterhours team with hands on rostering experience ideally within the disability sector managing complex SIL and community rosters, ensuring the right staff are matched to the right participant whilst maintaining strict SCHADS.

This is a hands-on, fast paced role suited to someone who thrives under pressure, is organised and a problem solver who can think outside of the box. Initial training will be conducted on site at our Beenleigh office and then the position will be working from home / remote during the below hours. On Occasion cover may be required in office during normal business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This is a casual role across a rotating fortnight roster.  Our after-hours team take charge of the after-hours function of the business for the below hours. Monday – Friday 6am – 8am and 4:30pm – 10pm. Saturday and Sunday shifts are 8am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm (ideally above shared across 2 -3 members and approx. 30-34 hours per week).
  • First on call during the above hours for our amazing Support Services Team and participants.
  • Manage and coordinate staff rosters across SIL houses and community supports.
  • Allocate shifts based on participant needs, staff availability and skill matching.
  • Manage last minute cancellations and organise shift coverage promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with the SCHADS award and Visa requirements.
  • Liaise with management for complex roster changes / needs.
  • Audit and process timesheets, shift notes daily ready for payroll.
  • Assist with Rostering / Workforce planning projects

 

About you:

  • Minimum 2 years rostering experience (NDIS Disability)
  • Working knowledge of the SCHADS Award
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with rostering platforms, ideally Flow Logic or similar
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Exceptional problems solving skills
  • High attention to detail

  • Home work safe desk / equipment (computer supplied)
  • Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
