About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing person-centred support based on each participant’s individual needs and goals.
• Supporting people with high physical support needs and complex disabilities.
• Implementing positive behaviour support strategies.
• Supporting participants to develop and maintain independent living skills.
• Promoting choice, dignity, rights and independence.
• Completing accurate documentation, including incident, behaviour, hazard and maintenance reports.
• Maintaining a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Working collaboratively with participants, families, colleagues and the broader NDIS support team.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have experience supporting people with high physical support needs.
• Are available for sleepover shifts regularly.
• Are flexible and available to work a range of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, sleepovers, weekends and public holidays.
• Hold a Certificate III in Community Services, Individual Support or equivalent.
• Hold a valid Queensland Driver Licence.
• Hold a current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
• Hold a current First Aid & CPR Certificate.

Experience with high physical support is highly desirable.
