Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Storeperson to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving and processing shipments, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. The Warehouse Storeperson will work closely with other team members to ensure that all products are properly stored and ready for shipment.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and process incoming shipments
• Manage inventory and ensure that all products are properly stored
• Pick and pack orders for shipment
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks
• Perform regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies
• Communicate with other team members to ensure that all orders are fulfilled on time
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and quality control teams to address any issues related to received materials.
• Identify opportunities to streamline receiving and inventory processes and contribute ideas for enhancing efficiency and productivity.
• Complete receiving reports, packing slips, and other paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Ensure warehouse is securely closed & locked up during non-working hours.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
• Other duties as directed by reporting manager.

Qualifications:

• Trade or tertiary qualifications
• Forklift License
• Previous experience of at least 2 years in Warehousing and Distribution role
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Command on basic computer skills – ERP, Pronto, MS Office
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication (written and verbal)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
