Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Storeperson to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving and processing shipments, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. The Warehouse Storeperson will work closely with other team members to ensure that all products are properly stored and ready for shipment.

Responsibilities:

Receive and process incoming shipments
Manage inventory and ensure that all products are properly stored
Pick and pack orders for shipment
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
Assist with loading and unloading trucks
Perform regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies
Communicate with other team members to ensure that all orders are fulfilled on time
Collaborate with procurement, production, and quality control teams to address any issues related to received materials.
Identify opportunities to streamline receiving and inventory processes and contribute ideas for enhancing efficiency and productivity.
Complete receiving reports, packing slips, and other paperwork accurately and promptly.
Ensure warehouse is securely closed & locked up during non-working hours.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Other duties as directed by reporting manager.

Qualifications:

Trade or tertiary qualifications
Forklift License
Previous experience of at least 2 years in Warehousing and Distribution role
Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Command on basic computer skills – ERP, Pronto, MS Office
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication (written and verbal)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
