Full Time | Ongoing Role | Penrith

Play a key role in the delivery and oversight of cyclical, compliance and property improvement across our residential portfolio.  Suited to trade, construction or facilities background.

About the Role

In this hands-on role, you’ll play a key part in delivering and overseeing Link Wentworth’s cyclical, compliance, and property improvement programs across our residential portfolio.

You’ll take ownership of scoping and inspecting works, coordinating contractors, and managing variations and invoice, ensuring all work is delivered safely, compliantly, and to a high standard. You’ll oversee services across approximately 360 residential complexes, including grounds maintenance, cleaning, fire safety compliance, responsive maintenance, and capital works.

Working closely with contractors, residents, and internal stakeholders, you’ll help ensure services are delivered on time and with a strong focus on quality and customer outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver planned and cyclical maintenance programs, including scoping, site inspections, contractor coordination, and approval of variations/invoices
  • Manage void property maintenance to meet turnaround KPIs
  • Conduct technical inspections and oversee disability modifications
  • Monitor WHS compliance, conduct safety inspections, and ensure work meets building codes and Australian Standards
  • Review contractor performance, maintain accurate work order records, and ensure value‑for‑money outcomes
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors

About You

You are proactive, organised, and solutions‑driven, with strong technical and stakeholder management skills. You thrive in a fast‑paced environment and take pride in delivering quality outcomes.

You Bring

  • A trade qualification, contractor licence, or relevant industry experience
  • Experience in maintenance, construction, asset management, or related fields
  • A solid understanding of WHS responsibilities
  • Experience in social housing or disability accommodation (desirable)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders
  • Commitment to social justice, inclusion, and Link Wentworth’s values
  • Experience in social housing or disability accommodation (desirable)

You Also Have

  • Working rights in Australia
  • A National Police Check (within 6 months) (or be willing to obtain)
  • A current NDIS Worker Clearance (or be willing to obtain)
  • Willingness to meet vaccination requirements
  • A current NSW driver’s licence and reliable, roadworthy vehicle
  • Ability to work from a Link Wentworth office with travel across the residential portfolio up to five days per week as required
