About the Opportunity

We are seeking compassionate and conscientious Disability Support Workers to join our team for afternoon and sleepover shifts. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people with disabilities while working with an innovative and forward-thinking organisation.

Key Responsibilities

As an Afternoon/Sleepover Disability Support Worker, your duties will include:

  • Personal Care: Assisting with showering, dressing, grooming, and mobility (manual or hoist transfer).
  • Health Support: PEG feeding, bowel and continence care, medication administration.
  • Meal Preparation: Supporting participants with meal preparation and eating assistance.
  • Domestic Assistance: Performing tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and bed-making.
  • Community Access: Supporting clients during outings, shopping trips, or social events.
  • Transportation: Assisting with travel to appointments, classes, or other commitments.
  • Goal Achievement: Helping individuals work toward their personal goals.
  • Documentation: Completing online reports and maintaining accurate records.
  • Supporting Choice & Control: Empowering individuals to make decisions about their care.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Australian Driver’s License.
  • Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination status.
