About The Role
As a Disability Support Worker at LifeFul, you’ll provide hands-on support that empowers NDIS participants to live with independence, dignity, and joy. You’ll work across a variety of settings—including participants’ homes, the community, and supported accommodation (SDA/SIL)—delivering both personal and social supports tailored to individual needs. This role is dynamic, person centered, and deeply rewarding, offering opportunities to build meaningful relationships while developing your skills in complex care, behaviour support, and community engagement.

Responsibilities:
As a LifeFul Disability Support Worker, no two days are the same. You’ll play a vital role in helping participants live life to the fullest by providing:
Personal Care: Support with daily living, mobility, transfers, and specialised equipment.
Medication Support: Prompt and monitor medication according to care plans.
Respite Care: Provide carers with essential breaks while ensuring participants receive compassionate support.
Domestic Assistance: Assist with household tasks like cleaning, laundry, meal prep, and shopping.
Social Support & Transport: Help participants engage in their community, attend appointments, and build social connections.
Companionship: Be a friendly, reliable presence who brings positivity and joy to each day.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking passionate people who share our values and bring energy, compassion, and reliability to their work. You’ll thrive with us if you:
A Cert III or higher in Disability, Aged Care, or Individual Support.
Bring 1+ years of experience in disability or aged care.
Hold a valid Australian Driving License and insurance (for community access roles).Have up to date First Aid, CPR, WWCC, and NDIS Worker Screening.Show initiative, accountability, and a willingness to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
