Key Responsibilities:

Design and draft detailed plans for cabinets, wardrobes, vanities, and kitchens based on client specifications and project requirements.

Utilize design and drafting software to create technical drawings, layouts, and 3D renderings.

Collaborate with clients, project managers, and production teams to ensure designs meet both functional and aesthetic goals.

Prepare accurate material lists, measurements, and specifications for production.

Revise and refine designs based on feedback or adjustments during the project lifecycle.

Stay updated on current trends in cabinetry, kitchen, and wardrobe design, incorporating innovative solutions into projects.

Ensure designs are completed on time and align with budget and quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as a Draftsperson, preferably in cabinetry, wardrobe, or kitchen design.

Proficiency in general design and drafting software (e.g., CabMaster, AutoCAD, Revit or similar).

Strong understanding of cabinetry construction methods, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Ability to visualize and create layouts that maximize both functionality and aesthetics.

Knowledge of renovation principles, especially for kitchens and bathrooms.

High attention to detail and accuracy in producing technical drawings.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with diverse teams.

Strong time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with additional 3D modeling tools or rendering software.

Knowledge of Australian standards and materials for cabinetry and renovations (if applicable).

Experience working with builders, renovators, or interior designers on similar projects.
