Summary:

As a Harvest Grain Handler, you will play a crucial role in the logistics and supply chain operations within our organisation. This temporary position based in Rand, New South Wales, involves assisting in the efficient handling and processing of grain during the harvest season. Your contributions will ensure that our operations run smoothly and effectively, supporting the overall success of our supply chain activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the loading and unloading of grain from trucks and storage facilities.
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Sample grain and weigh trucks
  • Maintain accurate records of truck movements and grain quality
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate well with team members

Attributes:

  • No formal education or experience is required; however, a background in agriculture, grain handling or logistics is advantageous.
  • Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in the heat and performing manual tasks.
