Description

We are a not-for-profit, community based organisation providing education and care from birth to 12 years of age across Tasmania. The opportunity

This is a new part-time (20 hours per week) opportunity that will be based in our Launceston Office to support our teams across Northern Tasmania. This role will:

  • Partner with our Regional Manager and Service Managers to build people management capability
  • Provide trusted, risk-based and practical advice to our Managers
  • Undertake employee-related investigations
  • Guide Managers through managing performance and misconduct
  • Regularly spend time at LGT sites across Northern Tasmania

About you

  • Demonstrated experience coaching and mentoring Managers on people management
  • Partnering experience in People and Culture and/or extensive people and operations management experience
  • Great at building and maintaining professional relationships
  • Demonstrated experience guiding and coaching managers on complex employee relations matters
  • Can align with and work collaboratively with a remote People and Culture team while servicing local stakeholder needs
