Summary:

JRM Resources is a locally owned, family-focused business delivering high-quality civil and mining services across the Peel and Southwest regions.

We are seeking a highly motivated Recruitment and Mobilisation Coordinator to join our team out at our Waroona office. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating end-to-end recruitment activities and ensuring successful mobilisation of employees to project sites.

This position is a parental leave cover opportunity, with the potential for extension subject to business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes for blue-collar and white-collar workers in the civil construction and mining industry.
  • Screen applications, conduct phone interviews, and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
  • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and onboarding documentation.
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems and recruitment databases.
  • Build talent pools and proactively source candidates for current and future workforce requirements.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to understand workforce demands and recruitment priorities.

Mobilisation

  • Coordinate employee mobilisation to project sites.
  • Arrange pre-employment medicals, drug and alcohol testing, and background checks.
  • Verify licences, qualifications, tickets, and certifications.
  • Manage site-specific inductions and onboarding requirements.
  • Book travel, accommodation, and roster arrangements where required.
  • Ensure all mobilisation activities are completed within client deadlines and compliance standards.

Compliance & Administration

  • Maintain accurate employee records and compliance documentation.
  • Monitor expiry dates for licences, certifications, and medical clearances.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, client requirements, and relevant legislation.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years previous experience in recruitment and mobilisation.
  • Experience in the civil construction industry, mining industry, and/or mobile plant operations.
  • Sound knowledge of mobile plant and bulk earthworks equipment used within civil and mining operations.
  • Strong knowledge of onboarding and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and recruitment management systems.
  • Experience using Employment Hero desirable.
