We are a leading company in the Textile industry, looking for hands-on Warehouse Operator to join our dynamic team in a full-time onsite role, Monday- Friday from 7:30am -3:30pm based at our Office & Distribution centre in Epping, Victoria.

About the role…

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for supporting the smooth and efficient running of daily warehouse operations. This role covers the full range of hands-on activities required to keep the warehouse functioning effectively.

This is a busy cut-to-length high volume operation, where quality and an eye for detail is paramount, while speed of execution is required. 

Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to;

• Receiving and receipting Inwards Goods
• Picking and Put-away of products
• Fabric Inspection, Quality Control and Cutting-to-length of orders
• Packing, Invoicing and Manifesting of orders
• Conducting general warehousing duties, which may include machine operation, cleaning and administration.
• Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goals.
• Working within and complying with occupational health and safety guidelines to ensure your own safety and that of others.
• Ad hoc duties as required

Job Requirements:

• Experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential
• Timekeeping and attention to detail is a must
• Ability to perform physical tasks and to operate machines
• Ability and willingness to learn, whilst sharing your skills and experience with the team
• Positive verbal and written communication style
• Basic computer skills – experience in SAP software is a bonus 
• Current LO/LF licence with experience is highly regarded
• A strong work ethic and commitment to safety procedures are essential
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
