About the opportunity
We are seeking a Lawyer with 2 – 5 years post-admission experience to join our Disputes practice group on a permanent basis.
Our Disputes team provides risk and disputes advice covering a broad range of matters including commercial contracts, governance, regulation, trust and Corporations Act. Working closely with Partners Eva Lin, Marcus Pullen and Mark McLennan, our team supports firm clients across diverse industries including government, defence, not-for-profit, First Nations businesses, mining and professional services. We value collaboration and teamwork to provide the best service to our clients.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have a keen interest in dispute resolution and be able to demonstrate
the following attributes, skills and abilities:
- 2 – 5 years post-admission experience;
- prior experience in dispute resolution;
- sound judgement and commercial acumen;
- legal knowledge and technical ability commensurate to experience;
- a proactive, innovative and energetic approach;
- high level communication and interpersonal skills;
- excellent technical and drafting skills with demonstrated attention to detail;
- well organised with the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines;
- willingness and ability to be flexible to accommodate business and client demands;
- ability to work autonomously and in a team environment;
- be solutions focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional standards; and
- the ability to manage challenging situations in a professional manner.
