Summary:

The Teacher is responsible for facilitating learning among students in a classroom setting. They create lesson plans, deliver lectures, assess student performance, and provide feedback for improvement. The position requires a deep understanding of a particular subject area and the ability to relate to and connect with students of different ages, backgrounds, and learning styles.

About Us:

• Irfan College is a co-educational, independent Islamic school located in the Southwest Sydney suburb of Cecil Park. The College was established in 2013 and is a single-stream school servicing Kindergarten to Year 12 students.

Position:

• An experienced and dynamic Primary school teacher is required for a start in Term 3, 2025. This would be an exciting opportunity for a Primary school teacher interested in working with an experienced team of educators.
• Note: Teachers seeking a Part-time position are encouraged to apply.

• Knowledge of and commitment to the Islamic ethos and mission of the school.
• Evidence of qualifications.
• Able to work as a member of a committed team of professional teachers, dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the parent community.
• A willingness to contribute positively as part of a professional learning community.
• Accredited with at least a Conditional Accreditation by the NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA).
• An Australian Citizen/have a current Australian Work Visa.
