About the role

This role supports our Credit & Accounts Receivable function by managing overdue customer accounts, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring credit processes are followed effectively. You’ll work closely with customers and internal stakeholders, helping to minimise risk while delivering professional and timely service.

  • Follow up customer accounts to recover outstanding debts and maintain healthy account balances.
  • Respond to customer credit and accounts receivable enquiries via phone and email.
  • Monitor customer credit limits and account usage to support compliance and risk management processes.
  • Process credit card payments and manage overpayments and unapplied cash transactions.
  • Build strong working relationships with customers and internal teams to resolve account issues efficiently.

What you’ll bring

You’ll bring strong communication skills, sound judgement, and the confidence to have professional conversations regarding outstanding accounts. You’re organised, resilient, and able to balance customer service with achieving business outcomes.

  • Previous collections experience with the ability to confidently manage overdue customer accounts.
  • Strong communication skills with experience handling customer enquiries via phone and email.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications and learning new systems quickly.
  • Experience in accounts receivable, credit administration, bookkeeping, or a similar finance-related role.
