We’re currently seeking a skilled and motivated Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join our team in a full-time, permanent role (Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week) reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager.
About the role:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment across high-volume and specialist hiring campaigns, ensuring a seamless candidate and stakeholder experience.
- Demonstrate proven success recruiting blue-collar and trade-based workforces, including
electricians, technicians, operators, supervisors, and field-based personnel.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles within mining,
energy, industrial, power and infrastructure sectors.
- Apply a consultative approach to talent acquisition, providing market intelligence, salary
benchmarking, and advice on talent availability and attraction strategies.
- Develop a strong understanding of technical disciplines including electrical trades,
control systems, automation, operational technology (OT), instrumentation, and related engineering functions.
- Utilise multiple sourcing methodologies including direct search, networking, referrals,
social recruiting, talent mapping, and database mining to identify high-quality candidates.
- Influence and build credibility with stakeholders at all levels, confidently facilitating
recruitment discussions, interview processes, selection decisions, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement in recruitment outcomes through data-driven decision-making,
process optimisation, employer branding, and talent attraction initiatives.
About you
7+ years’ experience in talent acquisition and recruitment.
- Minimum 4+ years’ agency recruitment experience, ideally within mining, resources, engineering, construction, energy, industrial, or technical sectors in WA.
- Proven experience recruiting high-volume blue-collar workforces, including trades, operators, technicians, supervisors, and project-based personnel.
- Demonstrated success recruiting technical and specialist roles, including electrical trades, automation, control systems, instrumentation, operational technology (OT), maintenance,
engineering, and project services personnel.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, behavioral interviewing techniques, talent assessment methodologies, and candidate engagement strategies.
- Experience utilising ATS, CRM, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other talent attraction technologies to drive recruitment outcomes.
- Understanding of employment legislation, recruitment compliance requirements, and workforce engagement models relevant to Australia.
