About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and independent General Practitioner (GP) to join our growing healthcare service. This is a flexible contractor position offering the opportunity to build your own patient base while delivering high-quality care through telehealth and mobile (home visit) services.

The role will initially focus on conducting health assessments and GP Management Plans, with the opportunity to expand into specialised areas of interest as your patient base grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments

• Prepare and manage GP Management Plans (GPMPs)

• Deliver care via telehealth and/or home visits

• Build and manage your own patient cohort

• Develop a focus in areas of interest such as:

o Chronic Disease Management

o Cardiology

o Diabetes Care

o Other specialty areas aligned with your expertise

About You

To be successful in this role, you must:

• Be a fully registered GP in Australia

• Hold Australian citizenship

• Have no supervision requirements

• Possess a valid Medicare provider number

• Be confident working independently

• Have strong communication and patient care skills

Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a clinical setting, preferably as a General Practitioner
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems
