At Hutcheon & Pearce, we’re looking for a motivated and people-focused People & Culture

Business Partner to support a designated region of our branch network across NSW.

This is an exciting opportunity to build strong relationships with leaders, provide practical HR advice and contribute to initiatives that support our people and business. With a broad range of responsibilities and opportunities to develop your skills, you’ll be able to grow your experience while making a genuine difference across your region.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partnering with branch leaders to provide practical advice and support across a range of HR matters.
  • Supporting performance management, employee relations, workplace investigations and employee concerns.
  • Coordinating recruitment, onboarding and initiatives that support retention and employee engagement.
  • Advising on HR policies, employment legislation and consistent people practices.
  • Supporting learning, leadership development and employee wellbeing initiatives.
  • Building strong relationships across your region and identifying opportunities to improve HR processes and the employee experience.

How our People & Culture team works:

You’ll be one of several People & Culture team members, each responsible for supporting a designated region or function of our business network. Reporting to the People Services Manager, you’ll work collaboratively with fellow Business Partners and the broader People & Culture team to provide consistent, practical support to leaders and employees across the business.

Our team values open communication, shared knowledge and working together to find solutions. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute ideas, take ownership of your region and continue developing your business partnering capability.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in a generalist HR or People & Culture role, with exposure to a range of employee lifecycle activities.
  • A sound understanding of employee relations, performance management and employment legislation.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with leaders and employees.
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Initiative, sound judgement and a collaborative mindset, with a willingness to keep learning and developing.

Experience in a multi-site, regional or operational environment will be highly regarded.
