Reporting to the People & Culture Director, you’ll shape and deliver the firm’s learning and development strategy, with the autonomy and scope to re-design signature programs, partner with partners and senior leaders across the firm, and build capability at every level.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement the firm’s learning strategy, aligned to the People Strategy and commercial drivers
- Refresh and facilitate our flagship leadership programs, including our Pathways to Partnership
- Manage and co-facilitate the end-to-end induction program, enhancing the experience for all new starters
- Lead the development and delivery of the Graduate Development Program
- Partner with stakeholders to conduct learning needs analysis and tailor development plans at individual, practice group and firm level
- Drive best practice digital and hybrid learning, creating e-learning content and maximising the LMS
- Plan and manage the annual legal education program, including CLE sessions, the professional legal training calendar and CPD compliance
- Maintain relationships with key external facilitators and consultants
About you
The HopgoodGanim People & Culture team is valued by the partnership for its future focus and the real impact it delivers while working directly with the business.

- Qualifications in learning, development, training or a related field
- Proven experience leading L&D strategy and frameworks, from scoping through to embedding
- Strong facilitation experience and capability across all levels, from graduates to partners
- Strong knowledge of contemporary learning and development practices, including digital and hybrid learning
- High-level business partnering and communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- The ability to manage and deliver multiple initiatives and priorities to key deadlines
