EIC25 (Electrical & Instrumentation & Construction Technicians)

About the role

As an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician at HazTech Solutions, you will be responsible for Electrical and Instrumentation installations across a variety of sectors servicing multiple renewable energy projects. This is a casual, on-site role based in Perth, Western Australia.

What you’ll be doing

Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment

Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and instrumentation issues to ensure optimal equipment performance

Providing technical support and guidance to operations teams

Working with a top tier client in the Hydrogen Research and Development sector

Working at the forefront of innovation

Implementing safe work practices and adhering to all health, safety and environmental regulations

Documenting work activities and maintaining accurate records

Collaborating with the engineering team to identify opportunities for system improvements

What we’re looking for

Formal qualifications in electrical or instrumentation engineering, such as a trade certificate or diploma

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in an industrial or oil and gas environment

Demonstrated expertise in the maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems

Strong understanding of industrial control systems, PLC programming, and SCADA systems

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
