Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to provide care and support to individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

– Assist individuals with daily tasks such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management

– Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals with disabilities

– Help individuals participate in social activities and community events

– Monitor the health and well-being of clients, reporting any concerns to supervisors or healthcare professionals

– Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress

Qualifications:

– Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualification is preferred

(Training can be provided for the right candidate)

– Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is desirable

(But not essential)

– Valid First Aid/CPR certification

(Training can be provided if necessary)

– Police Check clearance (or willing to obtain)
