Our people are the foundation of our success, and we’re looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional payroll and HR support. You’ll play a key role in managing payroll, supporting recruitment, co-ordinating employee lifecycle activities, and helping create a positive employee experience across the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payment to all employees.
  • Maintain and update employee records, including personal details, payroll information, and leave entitlements.
  • Assist in the recruitment process by coordinating interviews, onboarding new employees, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures in line with industry standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding payroll queries and HR-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations pertaining to payroll and employment.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and analysis related to payroll and workforce metrics.
  • Collaborate with management to enhance employee engagement and workplace culture initiatives.

About you:

  • Proven experience in payroll processing and HR administration across the employee lifecycle, preferably within the agriculture sector.
  • Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, modern awards and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
