Join the Glass Outlet Team as a Warehouse Customer Service Team Leader

Glass Outlet is recognised Australia-wide as a leading wholesale supplier of glass, aluminium fencing, balustrading, aluminium screening, shower screens and associated products.

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Customer Service Team Leader to join our team in Virginia.

Working as part of a supportive and friendly team, your responsibilities will include:

• Delegating daily tasks across the warehouse customer service team to support smooth warehouse operations
• Leading and motivating team members to provide outstanding customer service
• Ensuring orders are picked, packed and loaded accurately, efficiently and within required timeframes
• Coordinating yard traffic and delegating customer order collections
• Inspecting customer returns and communicating with customers throughout the process
• Assisting with stock replenishment, rotation and inventory accuracy
• Identifying deficiencies in picking processes and warehouse systems
• Supporting daily toolbox meetings, staff allocation and workload planning
• Monitoring team performance and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
• Maintaining high standards of workplace safety, cleanliness and Chain of Responsibility compliance
• Supporting the Warehouse Manager with recruitment, onboarding and employee performance matters
• Identifying and recommending opportunities for continuous improvement
• Completing general warehouse duties as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience in warehouse operations within the transport, logistics or distribution industry
• Experience leading, supervising or coordinating warehouse team members
• A current forklift licence
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to delegate tasks, manage priorities and meet operational deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy, quality and safety
• The physical fitness required to perform warehouse duties
• A positive, accountable and team-focused approach
• An MR truck licence, First Aid Certificate or Certificate IV in Logistics and Warehousing Operations would be highly regarded
