We’re looking for a Casual Optical Dispenser to join our team, supporting both our Albion Park and Balgownie practices. This is an exciting opportunity to work across two community-focused locations, helping patients look, feel, and see their best while delivering the personalised care George & Matilda Eyecare is known for.

About the Role

As an Optical Dispenser, you’ll play a key role in creating exceptional patient experiences and supporting the day-to-day success of our practices.

You’ll help patients navigate their eyewear journey with confidence, providing expert advice and recommending solutions tailored to their lifestyle and vision needs.

This role offers variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to work with loyal patients who genuinely value personalised care.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking an experienced Optical Dispenser who brings:

• Optical dispensing experience (essential)
• A genuine passion for patient care and customer service
• Strong retail and sales experience
• Excellent dispensing knowledge and confidence recommending frames and lenses
• The ability to quickly build rapport and communicate effectively with patients
• A positive, motivated, and self-sufficient approach to work
• A friendly, team-focused attitude with energy and enthusiasm
• Strong product knowledge and a commitment to ongoing learning
• Flexibility to support fluctuating business needs

Role Requirements

• Availability to work across both Albion Park and Balgownie practices
• Current driver’s licence essential
• Reliable transport and willingness to travel between locations
• Available to work Saturdays
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to the wider team
