About the Role

As an Area Network Manager, you will be responsible for managing and supporting a portfolio of dealerships across your assigned region within Australia.

 

This role focuses on driving dealer performance, supporting sales growth, improving operational execution, and ensuring dealerships operate in line with company standards and business objectives.

 

This is a field-based and business-focused role requiring regular engagement with dealership partners. You will play a key role in strengthening dealer operations, supporting retail performance, and maintaining network standards across the region.

 

You will act as a key link between the company and dealership partners, helping drive sustainable business growth, improve customer experience, and support the development of a high-performing dealer network.

 

Key Responsibilities

Dealer Network Management

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with dealership partners across the assigned region.
  • Conduct regular dealer visits to review business operations, sales performance, and customer experience standards.
  • Support dealerships in improving operational efficiency, showroom standards, and overall business performance.
  • Act as the primary regional contact for assigned dealerships on operational and network-related matters.
  • Support dealer onboarding activities, network expansion initiatives, and dealership development projects.
  • Work closely with the Sales & Network team to support implementation of regional network strategies aligned with overall business objectives and sales direction.

 

Dealer Performance & Sales Support

  • Support dealerships in achieving retail, wholesale, and KPI targets across the region.
  • Monitor dealer performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve sales and operational outcomes.
  • Work closely with dealer management teams to improve sales execution, pipeline management, and conversion performance.
  • Support implementation of national sales programs, campaigns, and retail initiatives within the region.
  • Assist dealerships in developing and executing business plans aligned with company objectives.

 

Network Standards & Operational Compliance

  • Ensure dealerships operate in line with OEM standards, dealer agreements, and brand requirements.
  • Support implementation and ongoing compliance of Geely CI standards across the dealer network.
  • Conduct regular operational reviews and facility audits to maintain network standards.
  • Work with dealerships to address operational gaps and implement corrective action plans where required.
  • Support continuous improvement of dealer quality standards and customer experience processes.

 

Reporting & Market Analysis

  • Monitor regional market trends, competitor activity, and dealer feedback to identify business opportunities and potential risks.
  • Prepare regular regional performance and operational reports for management review.
  • Review dealer operational submissions and key business performance indicators.
  • Support regional forecasting, business planning, and performance review processes.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5–10+ years of experience within an automotive OEM, importer, or dealership group environment.
  • Proven experience across dealer network management, regional sales support, or dealership operations.
  • Strong understanding of automotive retail operations, including dealer performance, sales processes, customer experience, and operational standards.
  • Experience working closely with dealership partners to drive business performance, operational improvements, and network development initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage dealer relationships and support performance improvement across multiple locations or regions.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse sales performance, operational data, and market trends to support business decisions.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills across both dealer partners and internal teams.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
  • Ability to balance operational execution with broader business and network objectives.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region as required.
