Role Overview
You will produce high-quality, social-first content for Frive across both organic and paid channels, handling the full production process end-to-end from idea development and planning through to shooting, editing, and final delivery.
This is a role for a social-first thinker and strong storyteller who understands how to create content people actually want to watch, while balancing brand, performance, and output. You should be able to independently turn briefs into compelling content at scale, with a sharp instinct for what works and why.
You’ll play a key role in shaping Frive’s content output across the business, bringing ideas to life in a way that is engaging, fast-moving, creatively strong, and built with performance and conversion in mind.
Core Responsibilities
End-to-end Content Creation
- Independently plan, shoot, and edit social-first video content designed to win attention across paid and organic channels
- Own production from brief to final export – with a focus on speed, quality and performanc
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, turning around high volumes of content quickly without compromising quality
- Build and maintain editing templates, production systems, and workflows to improve speed and consistency
- Use AI tools where helpful to increase speed and scale without lowering creative standards
Maintain clear visibility (and communicate) on:
- What’s in production
- What’s delivering
- What’s performing
Content Development & Ideation
- Generate & shape content ideas daily
- Turn growth briefs into content people actually want to watch
- Bring a social-first perspective to concepts, ensuring ideas are native to platform, relevant to the audience and designed to stop the scroll
- Collaborate with brand, growth, creative, and wider teams to develop strong content territories and formats
- Spot opportunities to translate business priorities, campaigns, products, and insights into clear, compelling social content
Performance-Led Creative Thinking
- Ensure ideas are built with performance and conversion in mind from the outset
- Review and refine ideas using high-performing content principles
- Apply platform understanding and content instincts to improve watchability, retention, and response
- Balance creative quality with commercial effectiveness, making content that both fits the brand and performs well
Ideal Candidate
- 2+ years’ experience producing and editing social-first video content
- You are chronically online – tracking trends, formats, and collaborators who can deliver innovative content
- You have no ego in the work — you care about what performs, not who came up with it
- Strong videography skills, with the ability to own shoots independently
- Strong editing skills with proficiency in Adobe and/or other editing tools
- Deep familiarity with short-form content styles, platform norms, and best practices
- Strong storytelling instincts and a clear understanding of what makes people stop, watch, and keep watching
- Able to take a brief or growth objective and turn it into content with a clear creative angle
- Commercially aware, with an understanding of performance content principles and conversion-focused creative
- Confident directing talent or contributors where needed
- Fast, organised, and reliable under pressure
- Able to manage multiple projects and deliver high volumes of content to tight deadlines
- Highly organised with files, naming conventions, asset management, and delivery workflows
- Comfortable working with direct feedback and improving content based on performance
- Able to capture high-quality still imagery when needed (nice to have)
