About the Role

Every great Member experience starts with a great Helper. Our Helpers are independent contractors who provide personalised care and support to our Members, helping them live independently and stay connected to the things that matter most.

As our Helper Talent Onboarding Specialist, you’ll help grow our community of exceptional Helpers, connecting us with people who are passionate about delivering personalised care and support.

This is a fast-paced, people-focused role where you’ll manage the Helper journey from attraction and sourcing through to onboarding and launch into our platform. You’ll work closely with Workforce, Care Teams, and the broader Helper Experience team to ensure we have the right Helpers, in the right locations, at the right time.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Find, engage and assess great Helpers to join the Five Good Friends community
• Build strong talent pipelines to meet current and future workforce needs
• Partner with internal teams to proactively identify and address Helper supply gaps
• Deliver a seamless onboarding experience, including compliance, documentation and platform set-up
• Support Helpers from their first interaction through to being ready to deliver services to Members
• Manage Helper offboarding and reactivation processes when required
• Leverage recruitment technology, data and AI tools to drive efficient, high-quality outcomes
• Continually improve the way we attract, onboard and support Helpers
• Track key recruitment and onboarding metrics, providing insights and identifying opportunities for improvement

About You

You’re a people person who gets genuine satisfaction from connecting great people with meaningful opportunities. You bring energy, initiative, and organisation to everything you do, and you’re confident working independently while managing multiple priorities.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

• Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, independent contractor engagement, workforce planning or rostering is highly regarded, but not essential. We’re also interested in candidates with transferable skills and a passion for people.
• Enjoy building relationships and creating positive experiences for candidates and stakeholders
• Are highly organised, proactive, and solutions-focused
• Take ownership of your work and are motivated to achieve great outcomes
• Can think critically, solve problems, and adapt in a fast-moving environment
• Are comfortable using technology and learning new systems
• Communicate confidently and professionally
• Know when to seek support and collaborate with others to achieve the best result
