About the Opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic Talent and Engagement Advisor to drive our workforce strategy and help us build a high-performing, deeply engaged team. Based at our Lonsdale or Cumberland Park location, you will be the driving force behind our talent acquisition, ensuring we attract, select, and retain top-tier talent who perfectly align with our company culture.

What You’ll Do 

In this hands-on, highly collaborative role reporting to the Group P&C Leader, you will partner directly with leadership to identify and develop the people who make our business thrive. Your core focus will include:

  • Recruitment & Candidate Experience: Owning the end-to-end recruitment process, from attraction and selection to contract generation and onboarding.
  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborating with leadership and hiring managers to provide insights on talent acquisition and ensure new hires fit company culture and skill requirements.
  • Role Management: Partnering with leaders to develop and refine position descriptions.
  • Talent Development: Driving activities focused on the development and retention of top-tier talent.
  • Onboarding & Retention: Delivering inductions, managing check-ins with new starters and their managers, and conducting exit interviews to generate insights for retention improvements.

What You Bring

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and talent management.
  • Strong understanding of contemporary talent acquisition strategies and platforms (e.g. Employment Hero, LinkedIn Recruiter, Seek, ATS systems).
  • Knowledge of employment legislation, equal opportunity, and best practices in recruitment and selection.
  • A strong strategic mindset with the ability to advise, partner with, and influence hiring managers.
  • A passion for organisational culture and building engaged workforces.
  • Comfort working in a fully on-site capacity to immerse yourself in our fast-paced team environment.
