Evolution Precast is a leading manufacturer of precast concrete products delivering major projects across infrastructure, commercial, and industrial sectors. As we continue to grow and strengthen our operations, we are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our quality function across multiple facilities in the Hunter Region.
This is a key leadership role with a strong hands-on approach, responsible for driving quality performance, ensuring compliance, and embedding a strong quality culture across the business.
About the Role
You will lead a team of Quality Engineers and Coordinators, ensuring all products meet project specifications, company standards, and industry requirements. You will also be responsible for maintaining ISO and IMS compliance, managing audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that support efficient production and reduce rework.
This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring a strong focus on operational outcomes and practical quality improvements.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the quality function across multiple production facilities
- Ensure all production outputs meet required specifications and quality standards
- Oversee inspection, testing, and non-conformance management processes
- Maintain and improve ISO 9001 and Integrated Management Systems (IMS)
- Lead internal and external audits and manage corrective actions
- Develop and deliver quality performance reporting and insights
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and rework
- Work closely with operations and production teams to embed quality into daily activities
- Manage and develop the quality team to achieve high-performance outcomes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a quality management role within the engineering sector.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and quality certifications.

You are an experienced quality professional with a strong background in manufacturing, construction, or a related industrial environment – Precast Concrete experience will be highly regarded. You bring a practical, hands-on approach to quality management and are confident working closely with operational teams to drive real outcomes.
