The Role 

We’re looking for an experienced MDA Product & Service Delivery Manager to join Evidentia Group. The role sits within the Implemented Portfolios (IPL) business and is responsible for the end-to-end management, delivery, and ongoing enhancement of our Managed Discretionary Account (MDA) products and services. 

This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in managed accounts, product management, or wealth management who enjoys working across multiple business functions to deliver exceptional adviser and client outcomes. You’ll work closely with Product, Investment, Adviser Services, Operations, Technology, Compliance, Marketing, and external service providers to ensure our growing MDA offering remains efficient, scalable, compliant, and aligned with evolving business and regulatory requirements. 

Responsibilities 

  • Manage the day-to-day operational delivery of Evidentia’s MDA products and services 
  • Coordinate product governance activities and support ongoing product oversight 
  • Lead product enhancements from concept through to implementation across multiple stakeholders 
  • Maintain product documentation and manage product lifecycle events, including updates and regulatory changes 
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects to support new initiatives, product launches and business priorities 
  • Oversee the onboarding of advisers, investment managers, platforms, and service providers 
  • Produce management reporting, product reporting, and operational insights to support business decision-making 
  • Support business development initiatives by ensuring product readiness and operational excellence 
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and technology to support business growth 
  • Monitor operational risks relating to product delivery and recommend appropriate controls and improvements 
  • Ensure operational readiness for legislative and regulatory changes impacting MDA services 
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external advisers, platforms, custodians, and service providers 

 

Skills & Experience 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in managed accounts, wealth management, product management, investment operations, platforms, or a similar financial services role 
  • Demonstrated experience managing or supporting Managed Discretionary Account (MDA) products or similar investment and/or platform solutions 
  • Strong understanding of the regulatory environment, including the Corporations Act, AFSL obligations, and MDA governance requirements 
  • Experience working with financial advisers, investment professionals, administration platforms, and custodial models 
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver cross-functional projects and multiple stakeholders simultaneously 
  • Strong project management, organisational, and prioritisation skills 
  • Excellent written communication skills with experience preparing product documentation and governance materials 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement 
  • High attention to detail and a disciplined approach to governance, risk management, and operational controls 
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel 
  • Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality 
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment 

 

Highly Regarded 

  • Experience managing third-party service providers within wealth management or managed investments 
  • Experience in product development or product lifecycle management 
  • Demonstrated experience implementing operational or technology-driven process improvements 
  • A postgraduate qualification in Finance, Business, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline 
  • An interest in leveraging AI tools to improve operational efficiency and service delivery
