  • Own complex employee relations and provide practical, commercially grounded HR advice
  • Lead and develop a small P&C team while supporting leaders across a growing national business
  • Join an ASX-listed property group during an exciting period of growth and transformation

Why Eureka?

Eureka Group Holdings is an ASX-listed Australian property group investing in, developing and operating communities across the living and tourism sectors.

With a growing national portfolio and a workforce spanning our Brisbane support office and communities across Australia, we’re building the capability, systems and ways of working needed to support our next stage of growth.

This is an opportunity to join our People, Culture & Safety team at an important time for the business and make a tangible impact on how we support our people and leaders.

What’s the role?

As our Senior HR Business Partner, you’ll be the senior generalist point of contact for leaders across our support office and national community network.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys getting close to the business, working through complex people matters and turning advice into action. You’ll own employee relations casework end to end, coach leaders, oversee key P&C operations and payroll, and lead the delivery of our annual people calendar.

You’ll also lead and develop our People & Culture Coordinator and Payroll Officer, building capability within the team while ensuring our day-to-day people operations remain responsive, accurate and well governed.

Your role will include:

  • Owning employee relations matters including performance management, misconduct, grievances, complaints and workplace investigations
  • Providing practical advice on modern awards, classifications, entitlements, rostering, allowances and employment matters
  • Coaching Regional and Village Managers to confidently manage performance, conduct and day-to-day people matters
  • Supporting consultation, organisational change, redundancy and redeployment processes
  • Overseeing payroll delivery, employee data integrity, employment documentation and P&C service standards
  • Leading onboarding, offboarding and employee transitions, including those arising from acquisitions and divestments
  • Delivering key people programs including remuneration review, performance and development, Voice of Employee and compliance training
  • Leading, coaching and developing two direct reports and building greater capability and cross-cover within the team

What’s in it for you?

You’ll join Eureka at a time when our business and portfolio are growing quickly, creating plenty of opportunity to influence how our People & Culture function supports that growth.

You can expect:

  • $150,000 + super, with a 12-month fixed-term contract and likelihood of permanence
  • Flexibility of two days WFH per week, and enjoy paid monthly team lunches and in-office breakfast snacks
  • A senior role with genuine ownership and visibility across the business
  • Direct partnership with operational and corporate leaders across Australia
  • Broad exposure across ER, industrial relations, payroll, people operations, change and employee lifecycle programs
  • The opportunity to coach leaders and strengthen people capability across a dispersed workforce
  • A close working relationship with our Head of People, Culture & Safety
  • The chance to improve processes and leave the function stronger than you found it

Is this role right for you?

We’re looking for an experienced HR generalist who combines strong technical knowledge with sound judgement and a practical approach.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • Six or more years of generalist HR experience, including substantial recent hands-on employee relations casework
  • Strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards and modern awards within a multi-award environment
  • Experience conducting or overseeing workplace investigations and producing clear, defensible documentation
  • Confidence coaching operational leaders through performance, conduct and other complex people matters
  • Experience leading or supervising a small team, ideally encompassing P&C administration and/or payroll
  • A sound understanding of payroll processes, controls and compliance obligations
  • Experience supporting geographically dispersed, multi-site or frontline workforces
  • Strong judgement, discretion and the ability to know when to make the call and when to escalate

Experience in aged care, seniors living, community housing, property services or another award-heavy, multi-site environment would be advantageous, as would experience with acquisitions, employee transitions or HRIS/payroll system optimisation.

What’s it like working at Eureka?

Eureka is growing, and that means our environment can be fast-moving, hands-on and full of opportunity.

We value people who can form a view, communicate it clearly and follow through. In this role, that means being comfortable handling difficult conversations, balancing commercial and people considerations, maintaining absolute discretion and providing leaders with practical solutions rather than simply identifying problems.

You won’t be expected to know everything on day one, but you will be expected to bring curiosity, sound judgement and the confidence to take ownership.

Ready to join Eureka?

If you’re an experienced HR professional who enjoys being close to the business, solving complex people matters and helping leaders become more capable, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply now and help us build the people capability that will support Eureka’s next stage of growth.
