Lead One of Sydney’s Premier Fitness Clubs

EMF Miranda Performance & Recovery Centre is seeking an experienced and driven Club Manager to lead membership growth, drive commercial performance, and oversee the day-to-day operations of one of our flagship NSW clubs.

About the Role

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the club, leading membership growth, driving commercial performance, managing daily operations, and creating an exceptional experience for both members and team members.

You will lead the club’s sales strategy, oversee operational excellence, coach and develop your team, and ensure the club consistently achieves its key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Growth

  • Drive monthly membership sales and revenue targets
  • Manage lead generation, sales pipelines, and conversion performance
  • Execute local marketing campaigns and community engagement initiatives
  • Maximise member retention and engagement
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators including:Net Membership Movement (NMM)AttritionRetentionDirect Debit dishonours
  • Build strategic partnerships within the local community to grow brand awareness

Leadership & Team Development

  • Recruit, lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing team
  • Create a culture of accountability, engagement, and exceptional customer service
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development
  • Support onboarding and training of new team members
  • Lead by example and uphold EMF’s values and service standards

Club Operations

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the club
  • Maintain exceptional presentation, cleanliness, and operational standards
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and WHS requirements
  • Manage member enquiries, feedback, and complaint resolution professionally
  • Monitor staffing, rostering, and operational efficiencies
  • Support the achievement of all club performance objectives

About You

You’re a commercially minded leader who enjoys achieving results, developing people, and building strong relationships.

You bring energy, accountability, and a passion for delivering exceptional member experiences while driving business success.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum two years’ experience in a leadership or management role, preferably within fitness, hospitality, retail, or a customer-focused environment
  • Proven success achieving and exceeding sales and business targets
  • Strong leadership skills with experience coaching and developing teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confidence managing performance and having difficult conversations
  • Passion for health, fitness, and customer service
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
