About The Role

We’re looking for an experienced, people-focused Distribution Centre Manager to lead the end-to-end performance of our Distribution Centre. You’ll oversee the safe, accurate and efficient movement of inventory across eCommerce, Wholesale and Retail, bringing together people, process, systems and data to deliver exceptional service and strong commercial outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading day-to-day operations across receiving, storage, replenishment, picking, packing and dispatch
  • Driving fulfilment accuracy, DIFOT, productivity, capacity and service performance across all channels
  • Leading, coaching and developing an engaged, accountable and high-performing DC team
  • Maintaining inventory integrity through strong receipting, putaway, cycle count and stocktake controls
  • Optimising stock flow, warehouse layout, systems, labour and resources to meet seasonal demand
  • Managing freight, suppliers, operating costs and relevant budgets
  • Championing workplace safety, compliance, housekeeping and proactive risk management
  • Using operational data, innovative, solution based thinking and continuous improvement methods to improve customer experience, cost and sustainability outcomes

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday, on-site leadership role based in our Reservoir Distribution Centre.

What We’ll Love About You

  • At least five years’ experience leading a Distribution Centre, warehouse or fulfilment operation in a retail, wholesale, eCommerce or multi-channel environment (eCommerce highly regarded)
  • Demonstrated success leading, developing and engaging operational teams
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, distribution, fulfilment and freight operations
  • Experience driving change, implementing systems and embedding improved ways of working
  • Confidence managing budgets, suppliers and external service providers
  • Strong data and systems capability, including Excel, WMS, inventory and fulfilment platforms
  • A solutions-focused approach with strong planning, prioritisation and stakeholder management skills
  • A genuine commitment to customer experience, safety, teamwork and continuous improvement
