Electrical Technician – Component Overhaul

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team delivering overhaul and repair services for electrical contractors as part of a major rail maintenance program.

This role involves hands-on work across disassembly, inspection, refurbishment, testing, and reassembly of critical electrical components in accordance with OEM specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overhaul and repair electrical contactors
• Perform electrical and mechanical testing and fault diagnosis
• Refurbish components including cleaning, coating, and part replacement
• Reassemble and calibrate equipment to OEM specifications
• Complete detailed service reports and test documentation
• Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and performance standards

The Basic Requirements:

• Trade qualified in Electrical or similar discipline
• Experience in equipment overhaul, maintenance, or repair

• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality

The Highly Regarded:

• Experience in rail, heavy industry, or rotating equipment
• Familiarity with contactors, relays, or control systems
