About the role

We are looking for a Certificate III qualified Educator to join a Thrive room team. You will work alongside experienced educators to deliver programs that support each child’s learning, and to give every child individual attention, comfort and a real sense of belonging.

What you will do

  • Contribute to the planning, delivery and evaluation of educational programs aligned to the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Record observations of children to support program planning
  • Implement daily care routines and maintain a safe, healthy environment
  • Support the inclusion of children with additional needs, children with disabilities, Aboriginal children and children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
  • Build warm, respectful relationships with children and families
  • Work in line with the National Quality Framework, food safety requirements and Thrive’s policies

What you will bring

  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, ACECQA approved, or actively working towards it
  • A current Working with Children Check for the state the role is based in
  • Current First Aid qualification
  • Skills, knowledge and training in food safety and hygienic food handling
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and current practice in early childhood
  • The ability to work as part of a team, take direction and seek support when you need it
