Driller's Assistant (Offsider)

📍 FIFO / Remote Sites | Casual (with pathway to Full-Time)

Durock Drilling is an Australian-owned exploration drilling company. We specialise in RC, Air Core and Diamond drilling across projects nationwide, with a strong focus on safety and building a positive crew culture.

We’re looking for motivated individuals to join our crews on FIFO rosters (2:1 and 4:2). This is your chance to get hands-on, learn on the job, and be part of a team that’s building a strong future in drilling.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with drill rig setup, operations and maintenance
• Handle rods, tools and equipment safely
• Conduct pre-starts, inspections and basic maintenance
• Maintain clean and safe work areas
• Support your crew to get the job done safely and efficiently

What We’re Looking for:

• Previous experience (desirable but not essential)
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
• Experience in labouring or physically demanding work
• Ability to perform heavy manual tasks in remote locations
• HR Driver’s Licence, National Police Check (within 3 months)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
