Operator Maintainer

Operator Maintainer – Rolleston Central Queensland Fields

Are you a hands-on operator with strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safe, reliable operations? Denison is seeking an Operator Maintainer to support gas plant and field operations across our Central Queensland assets. The position is based at Rolleston, with work undertaken across both fields as operational priorities require.

In this role, you will play an important part in safely facilitating gas production by operating, monitoring and maintaining plant, well and field equipment. You will support day-to-day production, complete scheduled operational and maintenance tasks, identify equipment issues, contribute to reliability improvements and help maintain high standards of safety, environmental care and housekeeping.

What you will be doing

• Operate and monitor gas processing, compression, plant and field equipment.
• Complete plant and well reads, routine inspections, minor maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Support safe work practices, including Permit to Work, JSA, isolation and hazard management processes.
• Assist with contractor supervision, shift handovers, reporting and scheduled work completion.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, equipment reliability and operational efficiency across both fields.

About you

You will bring a practical, safety-focused approach, sound mechanical aptitude and experience in plant, field, gas production or similar operational environments. Experience with control systems, permit systems, CMMS, compression equipment, wellhead operations or process plant operations will be highly regarded. A valid Australian driver licence and the ability to drive a manual vehicle are required.
